Spring Break brought a ton of visitors to the area. Spring Break weekend of March 19th was 100% occupancy at the beach. The clubs and restaurants, the grocery stores and WalMart were all over capacity with people and running low on supplies. Traffic was nearly at a stand still on Front Beach Rd. as I tried to show Gulf Front Condos. I went about 3 miles in 1 hour and was entertained along the way. Why so busy? Spring Breakers love Panama City Beach and why not? Our beautiful white sandy beaches are among the best in the world. The temperatures have been terrific too.
Buyers have shown up in groves this year with 49 gulf front ondos selling in just 28 days in the month of March so far. The average price of a gulf front condo is $234,264. The average price per square foot of a Gulf Front condo today is $179.22 and the average days on the market for sale is 240 days.
Condo prices are still really great and there are select banks loaning on this product with 25% cash down and excellent credit for qualifed complexes. You must know who to use for financing and this is where an educated local Realtor can come in. We already know the condo complexes where financing is available and those to stay away from.
