Walton County June Real Estate Trends

June saw a slight gain in the total number of home sales in Walton County over same period last year with a 15% increase year to date.

Condo sales remained weaker with only a slight gain of 4.95%.  Financing for condos continue to be an obstacle for most buyers.  Condo purchases require 25% down cash.

Residential Lots fell 13.75% over same period last year.

Foreclosures and Lis Pendens fell a great deal. 

Summary:  Inventory is beginning to decrease and slight increases are beginning to occur especially in the area of home prices.
