We love supporting local businesses. Our Happy Hour this week did not disappoint. We met this week at the Grayton Beer Company’s Tap Room. It is open on Thursdays from 4-7. The Long Leaf food truck had a break down and was not there on this evening, but Grayton Beach Catering showed up with a nice choice of either a bowl of Chili or some Pulled Pork Nachos. I ordered the Pulled Pork Nachos and I was able to pick out my own toppings. They were really good and enough to share ~ price $11.
Grayton beer is owned by Jamey Price and his wife Candace who moved to S. Walton in 2006. He started the brewery in 2011 and since then it has really grown. Locals love the beers that he is producing and production and distribution are both expanding. For Happy Hour you get your choice of some of their finest from the 30A Beach Blonde (my favorite) to the original 1890 Founder’s Ale, White Dunes, Pale Ale or the Oyster Stout.
They had corn hole set up and I played and lost to Mike Saur our Happy Hour Group Corn Hole Challenger, but it was still fun.
Here are a few photos from last evening.
